I don’t think I’ll ever be 100% better. I feel like there is always going to be this hollow place in my chest, to remind me that one thing can take away everything I’ve rebuilt. I’ll think I’m safe, out of harm’s way from my mind, and then something will happen and I will be drowning again. And there’s nothing I can do to stop it.
